As many of you have heard, Jackie Knox, Sr. is bringing “The Sonoma” to Sacramento Raceway Park all the way from the 405 to race in the Import vs. Domestic World War 1 event on March 24-25, 2017. No, this is not an exhibition race! Of course, Jackie will be in the house to meet and greet with all of his friends in between rounds, but he is really in Sacramento to take on some of the fastest Cali cars in the grudge shootout heard up and down the west coast. And, of course, we don’t want to forget that Jackie is locked in for a grudge race against Monti Fitzgerald. For those who know Monti’s car, it is one of the fastest cars to run in California. And, for those of you who have seen Monti drive, he can can hold his own against some of the greatest driver’s around.

This event is definitely one you will not want to miss. There will be over $25k in pay-outs for this inaugural event with a $10k pay-out to the Big Tire Class, and at least a $7k pay-out to the small tire class. Pay-outs for additional classes vary. Classes include: Big Tire, Small Tire, 8.5 Small Tire, True Street vs. Front Wheel Drive, and Stock Suspension. This event is brought to you by Team Boddie Presents and The Barkley Team.
